Because there isn't. Free markets are not supposed to allow it. There is supposed to be perfect competition and all that. Supernormal profits are not supposed to be allowed, they are supposed to be considered a market anomaly.

Supernormal profits means profits that are over and above the market profit margins that all players can achieve. They are gained by things such as market entry rigidity, monopolistic action or oligarchy collusion etc etc.
