@Rusty I always feel weird being in a group of like minded people that seems cut off, even if it's a pseudo feeling like here, I know we can interact with other mastodon's, but being that each feels more separate feed wise, it just always makes me feel off. It's less of a fault of the creators of cubhub, and more a fault of the creators of mastodon itself.
@christopherred It's more just the nature of federation. That said, the only thing that's really appreciably limited to our instance is the local timeline. You can check the federated timeline for all remote posts that come into here 
My home feed shows a ton of posts from all over Mastodon. It's just a matter of putting in the work to follow people from other instances, which, yeah, is not a great process.
