#NowPlaying Pattern-Seeking Animals - Spooky Action At A Distance
Enjoying this #music a lot. It features four of the contributors to Ted Leonard-era Spock's Beard so unsurprisingly resembles the sound of that band quite a bit - but with the prog dialled down somewhat, resulting in a less elaborate, more mainstream rock/pop feel. Very melodic and easy to listen to.
One of the more notable songs on this is the bonus track "There Goes My Baby", more for the subject matter than the music itself. It's about a guy whose girlfriend leaves him after he gets sucked down a conspiracy theory rabbit hole.
