A few notes on the recent two betas.
1. I tested the subscription workflow on the Mac app yesterday. It worked fine and gave me full functionality.
2. The Mac app doesn’t autocomplete tag names, in either the app itself or in the Share Sheet extension. That’s a real bummer.
3. I haven’t hit the “need to reconnect” bug, in the iOS / iPadOS Share Sheet extension, at all in the past week. That’s a huge improvement from what used to happen.
@interlink More on the Mac only subscribing for the current day. Here’s what I did.
Choose “Annual” subscription. Click “Subscribe Now”.
"Plan automatically renews for $25.00/year starting Nov 8, 2023 until canceled.” — should be a 1-week trial, then access until Nov 8, 2024.
Confirm purchase.
“Purchase was successful” dialog.
Then get the thank-you dialog, telling me, “You now have access to all features. Your subscription is valid until Nov 1, 2023.”
No 7-day trial period, no year-long subscription.
