My favorite repeat photography location ever has just been updated: @Geotripper has spent 21 years visiting the place where a road crosses the creeping segment of the San Andreas Fault, and (between resurfacings) the consequences of paving over a plate boundary become increasingly visible.

@allochthonous @burritojustice @Geotripper This is awesome. I was trying to find illustrations of fault movement for my son after the first earthquake he’ll remember (the 4.0 this weekend) and will share this with him as soon as he gets home!
