squiblet"Wide Stance" is a reference to the long-time R senator from Idaho who was busted by a detective at the Minneapolis airport while apparently looking to have anonymous gay sex in a restroom. It seems the way guys would signal their interest to each other was by playing footsie between the stalls, and Craig's excuse was he is a 'wide guy' which somehow turned into 'wide stance'.
