For Day 2, it's my friend XinebiVen. We were friends before she started streaming, and I modded for her at first before she finally inspired me to make my own VRoid (even though I couldn't use it to stream) and eventually be a VTuber in my own right. I also tried using a 3D reference model in CSP, so I think I got perspective better. #ENVTubers #VTober

Today was a bit hectic, but I was still able to get a drawing in for Day 3. The first VTuber I ever simped for was the incomparable Ironmouse. Like what is there to say about Mousey? She's got the singing voice of an angel, she's got amazing comic timing, and the fact that VTubing allowed all of these opportunities despite her health issues. For Day 4 I wanted to highlight another friend I mod for: LottieSpacebuns/Lottie.exe. She's an absolutely sweetheart, and while she hasn't been able to stream much lately I'm glad to have met her and to mod for her. #ENVTubers #VTober #VTubers

For Day 5 it's the last VTuber I personally moderate for, SnerlineArt, but also just a genuinely sweet person and a good friend I've had for the last year. She's also a fantastic artist and hard worker, being her own VTuber parents as she both drew and rigged her own models. Day 6 of VTober and I couldn't go much further without talking about ALittleSugoi. Hers was the first community I felt a part of. I even took part in a bit with her on stream that I still remember. She was putting on facade of forced happiness while playing Minecraft and us in chat wanted her to break. So, I decided to go Jigsaw and donate increasing amounts of money until she broke. When she did, it was glorious. She went on a hiatus as she moved to Japan with her husband, but she's managed to return to streaming part time and it's so good to have her back. #VTober #VTubers #ENVTubers

For Day 7 I wanted to draw my favorite Hololive member, Tsukumo Sana. While she may have retired, I genuinely loved the time I spent with her while she was with us, and I hope she's living her best life. #ENVTubers #VTubers #VTober

For Day 8 of VTober, I wanted to highlight the only VTuber I've modded for on YouTube, Ophelia Midnight of VReverie. I loved my time as a mod, but sadly not long after she started, I went through a mental breakdown, gave her my resignation, and ghosted. For Day 11, it's my favorite moose Haruka Karibu. I've enjoyed Haruka since her early days streaming, but it was her video talking about her experiences growing up autistic that really made me admire her. Seeing her star grow and shine makes me so happy for her. #ENVTubers #VTubers #VTober

For Day 12, I drew another stinky deer, Soymilk(tm). I’ve been a fan of hers for a couple years, mostly when I went by the Storytime Rowan moniker, and she’s such a sweet and welcoming streamer. Day 15 and I pulled a twofer: both model designs for Paije Monstre. I found Paije when I was looking for VTubers that went beyond the standard anime aesthetic, and I loved her kaiju design and making a plus sized model. Today’s my last day at 34 years old, and for Day 16, I drew someone who’s been a good friend during my darkest times in this scene, Toluca Turtle. At the points where I was my most depressed and needed someone to talk to, Toluca reached out to me and helped me through those dark periods. Today I turned 35, and I decided to draw Petrichoral. I’ve been a fan of hers not long since getting into VTubing, and I’ve loved seeing her improve and expand into new things, and when I was at a really low moment, she lent an ear and was there for me. I’ve been a guest on their streams about a half a dozen times and enjoyed every one of them, despite the time difference making me get up at like 6 AM my time sometimes and my Japanese speaking skills being below a Japanese preschooler’s. Not only have they been supportive since I met them, they helped me out when I attempted to make an updated VRoid model and was one of the first VTubers I met that featured a plus sized model. For Day 27, I drew another friend, Dinah Tyranno. I met Dinah at the tail end of last year as I tried to seek out dinosaur VTubers, but as the TERF Wizard Blood Libel game caused the scene to implode, she and I connected even more over our shared feelings on the issue, and it was through Dinah that I learned just how deep the antisemitism in that game and in a lot of goblin mythology runs.
