Meet @mollyhf.bsky.social at @WashingtonPost.com, who smeared Vaseline over her ethical lens so she could render this puffery on Mike Johnson while barely mentioning he was an architect of the 9/11 coup who believes marriages like mine are like marrying pets. https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2023/10/29/mike-johnson-louisiana-hometown-house-speaker/
House Speaker Mike Johnson’s Louisiana hometown guided by faith and family

While many residents hoped his new role would benefit the area, others were less confident, a reflection of the country’s ideological and racial divides

The Washington Post
@stevesilberman. Edits: Instead of this #Hallmark opening, "In this small town masquerading as a city," how about "this fascist speaker masquerading as a republican who believes in democracy." & "Mike Johnson, 51, is a staunch conservative who championed religious causes." No, not "religious causes" b/c that includes all religions or god forbid (pun intended) atheists & agnostics. #WashingtonPost, stop hurling us towards #authoritarianism by #normalizing people who don't stand for #democracy.
@stevesilberman “9/11 coup”???? Have I missed something?
@stevesilberman I could barely even read the headline without throwing my phone. Disgraceful 🤮
@stevesilberman
He is guided by hatred, greed and lust for power.
