Moderates, as in the non-alt-left/alt-right... the "Reasonable" part of both those spectrum? Or did you maybe mean centrists? I mean id disagree either way but very weird to say being reasonable/moderate (not ideologically extreme) is going to destroy the world...

The current status quo, this business as usual that we take for granted as normal and ordinary and comfortable, is already destroying the world.

Seen the weather lately?

People have very, very different ideas of what is "reasonable".

What are you on about. The damage to global warming is largely perpetuated by non-moderates. For example the alt-right, one of the least moderate political categories is also the most aggressive against green policies.

Likewise, thankfully there isnt much communism left, but when it was more common communism was likewise one of the worst offenders of mother nature.
