@Pixdigit thanks! I was also considering a thinkpad but the versions of those without unnecessary and expensive extras never have a good screen which was one of my main priorities. The IPS on this, while not having the most even backlight (a few brighter spots), has very good colors. Also has a 2x larger battery than comparable thinkpads. So overall I'm very happy with this tuxedo, the keyboard feels very nice and the Linux support is great (with the one nitpick that the touchpad status LED driver requires you to use one of the major DEs). The cooling is also good which is refreshing, coming from a thinkpad x220 which would overheat a lot.
