@cianhan The car we drive the most was bought new. A 2006 Mercedes-Benz W203 C280 3L 7A. It is over 17.
I recently replaced the front shocks for the first time. When I was picking it up, one of the mechanics commented on it. I said it drove great. He replied that the boss test drove it after the repair, and commented that it drove like a brand new car.
I concur.
@cianhan Any equivalent replacement would cost approximately $1,000 per month for five years. Even a pre-owned example might cost $600 per month X 60.
Thatβs $7,000 to $12,000 per year for five years! π³
It is worth it to me to keep this car purring like a happy kitten with expert maintenance and timely repairs.
I rent cars from time to time, and there are still brand new cars costing $50K that donβt have all the features or capabilities of this one.
