There’s a reason Canada is a good place to live. It’s not because we’ve got no problems. I think it’s because we tend to skew to the liberal or left side of our desire for simplistic solutions. Not always. But over decades, consistently. Most of us are adults. Most of us accept what that means (things are complicated, messy, most of the time). And most of us want to do right by others, especially those who have it harder than we do. This is my Canada.
