But also oh no what is happening in the next update? I am out of the loop with SoT. I am trying to get back into playing the game but apparently have to reinstall it to fix corrupted files.

This next update is gonna separate the game into PvP servers and PvE servers, so there will be servers that don't contain other players, and you can grind out a lot of the easier levels on them, they have a level cap the PvP servers won't. I think it's going to make the PvP servers much more aggressive since the avg sunk boat value will go up a lot, and since you'll still need the servers to rank up, it'll make the last third of the game that much harder potentially
