This is what brought me here back in '17. The place was full of wierdos with all kinds of interests--some completely bonkers--that they'd enthusiastically post about.

I don't want Mastodon to be the new Twitter. I want people from Twitter to come here and discover that joy.

That weirdness *was* the vibe on Twitter for the first 5-6 years, until it became $TWTR on the stock market.
