Husam Zomlot is the Palestinian ambassador to the UK who has criticised those attending pro-Palestinian demonstrations in order to intimidate the Jewish community, saying they should “shut up”.
When asked about people attending rallies carrying Hamas flags or glorifying the attacks on 7 October, he said:
"This is abhorrent, unacceptable. Those people hijack our cause for their own twisted logic."
Palestinian ambassador to the UK Husam Zomlot, told Sky's Sunday Morning with Trevor Phillips show that people who use pro-Palestinian protests to support the Hamas attackers and intimidate Jewish people are 'hijacking the cause'.
