It is not anti-Israeli to condemn Benjamin Netanyahu. It is, in fact, pro-democracy and pro-peace to do so.
@georgetakei it's not anti-Israel to condemn the war and stand up for Palestine either, though the US would certainly have you believe it is. The right to defend one's self does not extend a right to genocide.

@nesi @georgetakei if anyone is bent on genocide here it's Hamas, it's officially high olup there in their manifesto. Yes, Israel has extremists and useful idiots who want ethnic cleansing, but it's less mainstream than anti-immigrant sentiments in the GOP.

Finally, if I may add, it's definitely not anti Palestinian to condemn Hamas, a terror org for over 30 years ever before this gruesome massacre, who also killed and maimed thousands of Palestinians in Gaza themselves.

@I @nesi @georgetakei do you honestly believe Israel, with their world renowned security forces, didnโ€™t know about the Hamas attack?? Think about itโ€ฆ
@LexiGirl @nesi @georgetakei I could not stop thinking about it for the last two weeks. it was a devastating combination of hubris, techno-optimism and a set of really bad politic and financial policies going down from Bibi to the intelligence community to the boots on the ground' that's why it has been such a horrible event. I am lucky nobody in my first and second circle died, but friends and family lost many people. communities were decimated. We were betrayed by our own government.
