I particularly appreciate how Alice grounds the book in feminist, queer, and intersectional theory—something I’d love to see more privacy researchers do. #AoIR2023

ripley@vitak @alicetiara yes! Thats One of the main reasons why it is more useful for understanding and addressing the ways that tech, companies & governments control and exploit, what’s at stake. I’m looking at surveillance tech in nightlife & its def more relevant then a lot of mainstream surveillance theory. #aoir2023
