@legion303 In a world where Blackrock and State Street own all the stocks, they own both the businesses, and the real estate firms, so perhaps their interests aren’t served by reducing office space costs.
@legion303 The issue is that later when the CEO of that large company goes golfing with their rich buddies they have this awkwardness with the real estate magnate who was holding all of that commercial property the company no longer occupies. Doesn't anyone think of the yachts and Bugatis that will go unowned? ;)
