@arstechnica It’s a bit of a pity we keep digging up texts of minor philosopher Philodemus from Herculaneum given no original writings (just lecture notes) from Aristotle remain in existence. That’s contingency for you.
@arstechnica So frustrating the hypesters forced us into calling this stuff AI. 🙁 Two years ago this same technology would have just been ML.

@arstechnica been following the herculaneum scrolls for a while now and its so exciting to see this finally begin to happen! even more so knowing we will probably be able to read more by the end of the year
