Remember.. there is still a #war going on in #Ukraine

Maybe someone should remind news outlets

@stux The worst can still happen. If USA pulls out of Ukraine, effectively splitting NATO, China will get the best condition, to try to get Taiwan. What that would mean for normal people, not many understand.
@stux Yes, and the GOP in the US will try even harder to cut US $$$ to Ukraine. Trumpism, christo-fascism, propel US Republican party.
@stux some people make argument like "look at Israel, they don't need to rely on USA to defend themselves". Don't also forget that Ukraine's enemy is one of the biggest armies in the world. It doesn't make them competent, but military might does not compare to hamas.
@stux Russia reportedly needed to ask for weapons from fucking North Korea. Now think about how much resistance does Ukraine need to have to make that happen.
@stux If things go sideways (like, way more sideways than they're already going), all those Iranian drone and munition factories could be made to stop supplying Russia.
@stux This is exactly what putin wants. Perhaps now he can finish annihilating those pesky Ukraini since they're blocking his path to further line his pockets.
And let's not forget Iran, complicit as they are in the war in Ukraine, still hasn't properly addressed their own acts of inhumanity while advocating support for hamas terrorists.
The entire corner of the world seems to be drinking from lead-lined cups. China, Saudi Arabia, India, and more have all lost that fragile bond with reality.

@stux They focus on one at a time to avoid getting confused about which reporting goes where.

This via openDemocracy is about a third conflict.

"... cutting off the supply of food, medicine, fuel, and basic necessities. That action, designed to starve the population into submission or flight, drew charges of genocide from an array of international experts and watchdog groups."

@stux they can only focus on 1.5 things. The GOP house nonsense is the .5 in the US
@stux I wish news outlets would stop fueling wars by putting people's attention on them. Maybe if news outlets would make people focus on uplifting positive happenings, politicians would start to look to being uplifting as well to remain in the spotlights.
@stux The occupation of Palestine had been occurring for *decades before* the war against Ukraine, which has been having more than a year of media attention.
But excuse us, for worrying about the genocide of a third world country which has practically no international support.
@stux nobody reminded the newsoutlets there has been 3 major earthquakes in Afghanistan, with 1000s of casualties.
@Ch1po Perhaps someone should? πŸ˜‰
@stux been trying to, but it's stay gnored. Even you only use it to make a joke.

@Ch1po I don't really see how it's funny or a joke..

You could also just ask instead of start bashing, my guess is that you'll get a lot more done

maar dat weet je zelf wss ook wel πŸ˜‰

@stux
They are no longer doing their job, as it used to be. The NSA and CIA keep tabs on the stories and even meet with senior editors, to make decisions on what to run, what to hold, and even which to squash.
PROPAGANDA.
