Kim, I have a Dish account that only gives me MSNBC, No CNN and No Fox
Yeah, "Dirty Laundry" by Don Henley writ large. The combination of 24/7 news and profit motive is a systemic issue I have no idea how to even begin addressing.
@GottaLaff I'm sure the US put pressure on Israel to turn the water back on. Now who can put pressure on Hamas to release the hostages? I've seen no outcry for this on social media.
ETA: Kudos to the Biden administration. Biden really is an experienced statesman. (I'd say elder statesman, which is the usual phrase, but it probably would be misinterpreted.)
Egads... I wonder how many Democrats even realize they have another #hostagecrisis on their hands, like in 1980.
This is why the world needs a stronger free press that is protected from harassment and being compelled by government to reveal sources.
People need to HEAR AND UNDERSTAND the news.
"As Jake Tapper grills him about the treatment of people in the Gaza Strip, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan tells him that he was informed this morning that #Israel has restored water service: via Aaron Rupar"

For years, Netanyahu propped up Hamas. Now it’s blown up in our faces
The premier's policy of treating the terror group as a partner, at the expense of Abbas and Palestinian statehood, has resulted in wounds that will take Israel years to heal from.
The idea was to prevent President Mahmoud Abbas—or anyone else in the Palestinian Authority’s West Bank government—from advancing toward the establishment of a Palestinian state

Water turned on...into a system with destroyed buildings having busted numerous pipes.
Life saving but you'd need utility crews out en masse to shut off various junctions to keep pressure up I'd think.
