@tj What hardware is used with this program on FreeBSD?
@ogogon it is the cheapo “logic analyser” you see in searches, the Sigrok driver picks it up as a salee clone
@tj Is it possible to ask for at least some letters and numbers, or at least a large, legible photo on both sides? Well, or a link to Aliexpress.
@ogogon it’s just a completely generic thing. The important part is the chipset inside, I think there are three different ones all in this same packaging
@tj I have such an adapter, but the kernel does not see it correctly. Investigation of the issue showed that the issue is in the hardware design, the position of either one or two jumpers and the still loaded firmware. Obviously I had bad luck with some of this.
@ogogon ah that makes sense, I’m hesitant to recommend anything because this is so chaotic.
