Why do we think this is ok?

So much time and effort went into forming that croissant into a puffy crisp semisphere and now the poor thing resembles a pancake.

Yet I've never seen one sent back for looking like this (admittedly I've not sent any back either) - so we must consider that it's acceptable.

We deserve better.
