just saw a typo: "spearated" instead of "separated."

Here's how I imagine it works:

Comma separated:

a,b,c

Hyphen spearated:

a-b-c

(See the spear?)

#shishcase #swordcase #spearcase

@secretgeek in programming this has become increasingly referred to as "kebab case"

What's the name for hyphen-separated case?

This is PascalCase: SomeSymbol This is camelCase: someSymbol This is snake_case: some_symbol So my questions is whether there is a widely accepted name for this: some-symbol? It's commonly used ...

@kionay I went on a lengthy rant a while back that the words “shish” and “kebab” (from “shish-kebab”) mean (approximately) “sword” and “cooked” respectively — so it ought to be “shish-case” not “kebab-case” as the hyphens evoke the skewering not the cooking.

@secretgeek the evolution of human language does as it pleases and no amount of ranting will put a dent into the sheer force the change in language has.
