I'd forgotten just how bonkers Polybius is.
@llamasoft_ox Getting old are we? :D

@troed eh, I don't mean it in a bad way, just I'd forgotten how intense it is, whilst weirdly being utterly relaxing at the same time; you're speeding along at a zillion miles an hour whilst simultaneously trending towards a kind of zen stillness, and in the moments of uttermost chaos sometimes it's best to just let go of your mind.

I must do a sequel one of these days.

@llamasoft_ox My autistic son absolutely loves it. He calls it "the goat" and I can't bring myself to correcting him :D

(The "getting old" comment was more regarding it not being _that_ long ago you wrote the thing ... but now I realize it's been six years and omg)

Oh, and yeah, it's absolutely one of your best.

@troed Well must be going on time for a sequel... I'm sure I could do a better job now too...

But it'll have to wait for now whilst I have actual paid work to do :)

@llamasoft_ox @troed
Just saying "if you'll ever be up for a sequel or such I'll be up for" .. BUT .. I think this I can do "much better code" .. still "the editor" is/was quite a thing, I don't think in those times and even now many had "a full level design/edit/test system that completely works in VR" .. How many MONTHS you spend N hours a day in VR while doing Polybius 😄 ?
@gilesgoat @llamasoft_ox @troed Is there any chance you’d like to tell the story of Polybius and that whole system (and precisely whichever sidetracks you feel like) on a podcast some day? I run one, and I would *love* to hear more about this.
@bjoreman @gilesgoat @troed there is certainly a tale to be told there, like many of our games Polybius took a while to find itself during development, and there was a definite moment where we went "yes, there it is!"
@llamasoft_ox @gilesgoat @troed Would love to hear all about it, and I know I’m not alone. Doesn’t have to be on my podcast (Kodsnack) of course, but happy to help make it happen if I can.
