Whose a good comedian that never fails to make you laugh? - Lemmy

Nate Bargatze
Seeing him again on Saturday. Can’t wait!
His childhood primed him for comedy.

Michael McIntyre

And generally any comedian doing a bit about raising kids.

Michael MacIntyre is the comedic equivalent of beige wallpaper
Parenthood is a bit like beige wallpaper, though; you have to be able to find the funny in it or you’ll cry every day.

Beige wallpaper is still great though even if it doesnt make many people double take in amazement.

He may not be the most challenging comedian ever but he does observational comedy at the absolute top tier.

It’s broad, it’s over the top, but it’s still brilliant. Similar to Peter Kay really.

In my opinion anyway, there aren’t many things that are as subjective as comedy so to each their own!)

I’ll give you two, one living, one passed.

Randy Feltface is great with crowd work.

Mitch Hedberg was a genius with delivery, and even though I’ve seen most of his recorded work multiple times, I still laugh out loud.

I have a chance to see Randy Feltface live in December but may have to go by myself since my one standup buddy said he “can’t do puppets” lol. I mean I get the puppet hate but this isn’t like Jeff Dunham, Randy is actually legitimately funny to the point that you kinda forget you’re looking at a puppet.

also agreed on Mitch, RIP.

Craig Ferguson is probably my number one though. His specials aren’t even that great but the three times I’ve seen him live have been hysterical, and his Late Late Show was legendary imo, such a quick witted mind for improv.

Loved Ferguson. His books are worth a read, too.
Louis CK, the only man in the world funny enough to un-cancel himself
Lol true. Though it helps when half of your routine is to joke about how shitty of a person you think you are, and then it turns out that’s true, and people are like “yeah that checks out”
Sarah Millican
And her husband Gary Delaney. If you like puns, he’s the current king.
  • George Carlin
  • Billy Connolly
  • Carl Barron

Joke answer: Peter Molyneux

Serious answer: The sadly now retired Eckart von Hirschhausen, who does comedy mostly about health and medical topics.

lol what Peter Molyneux did? I know he’s a videogame designer, but I’m out of the loop
Yeah he never fails to make me laugh. 😅
Joe Lycett, Stewart Lee, Philomena Cunk
Cunk is a fictional character. Diane Morgan is the comedienne that plays her.
I want her to be real.
I’m sure, somewhere, she is. My guess is working in retail management.
Her series “Mandy” was even funnier than Cunk, IMO
Man that series was both hilarious and depressing.
Stewart Lee is better than all other standup combined.
Bill Burr

Bill burr all the way!

I don’t even have to watch his full specials. I just watch him in Conans show , and it lights me up!

This fockin guy

Norm MacDonald

The moth joke, dirty johnny, country of germany, 9/11 compilation, ManGrate, guest appearance with courtney thorne-smith on conan.

RIP.

I didn’t even know he was sick.

He kept it a secret up until his final days
Joe Wilkinson doesn’t even have to open his mouth and I start laughing
I’m not saying you’re wrong - humour is subjective. But man, I don’t think Joe Wilkinson has made me even smile. He’s a total ruiner for me in 8 out of 10 cats.
While I do find him funny, I do think that he seems to lean into one thing extremely heavily and the reaction of him is based on if you find the bit funny or not.

I’m so glad I’m not the only one. I honestly don’t get whatever he brings to the show. People really love him, so I’ve always thought it was just me.

The bit where he names people’s penises is apparently the funniest thing ever to air on the show, and I just don’t connect to it at all.

I never found Joe Wilkinson particularly entertaining - that was until his appearance on Taskmaster which was simply sublime.
Way too many these days.
James Veitch
Was he the one that had some sort of scandal recently?
His story about the rubber ducks is awesome

Bill Burr Eddie Izzard Diane Morgan James Acaster Jimmy O Yang

German: Carolin Kebekus Kurt Krömer Teddy Teclebrhan Loriot (Rest in peace)

Taylor Tomlinson

Taylor’s recent “Look at you” show was hilarious. The story behind that title is amazing too!

Sorry progressive and always know when I watch her stuff that I’m in for a good time.

She is consistently very good, and has excellent stage presence.

10 that I have enjoyed a lot:

  • Kyle Kinane
  • Hannibal Buress
  • Patton Oswalt
  • Mike Birbiglia
  • Tig Notaro
  • Matt Braunger
  • Marc Maron
  • Bo Burnham
  • Jackie Kashian
  • Tim Robinson
  • Norm Macdonald
YouTuber matt rose

He just collects content from social media (mainly Twitter search results & comments under Reddit posts). His added value is narration (so that people can listen only) in a unique voice, a few sarcastic remarks and occasionally some boring skits that SponsorBlock rightfully classifies as filler. He is also apparently oblivious to Reddit’s API changes (on the day of the protest, all he stated was that he hopes content returns) and the Twitter acquisition, continuing to use both and never having used content from the Fediverse.

These content-aggregating YouTubers are a dime a dozen, and I would not even call this one a comedian.

i mentioned him on Twitter with the olny twitter account i use
1 Twitter account is too many.
i have to have a twitter account because calyxjabberserv
James Acaster
He does ticke me good
