I don't understand how #Reuters, whose own camera recorded the video above, "could not independently verify" that #Israel did indeed fire several #whitephosphorus shells right onto #Gaza city's little port. I and 7000ish other people watched it happen.

I desperately wish I'd had to foresight to capture and save the clip.
