@elongman JavaScript is just laggy in general, pastor.
@sayartyler Fair enough, but this is the only website I've ever encountered (within the last decade, anyway) that presents a blank page and thinks about things for that long before it finally shows some content.
Or is that just me? Maybe it works great for everyone else...
@elongman It could be a number of issues:
* Database problem
* Slight browser incompatibility
* JavaScript bug
* Server overloaded
Try to take note over the next few days and see if it improves. I host my own instance, so I can't commiserate on the quality of mastodon.social
