@silverhuang Hey, operator of @shiguma here. You don't have to do anything anymore, I've decided to just take down the autobooster for good.

Anyway what the bot does is follow every #guppe and #chirpsocial group (or at least every group makai.chaotic.ninja has seen), and then just boost everything the group boosts so that my #GoToSocial instance at kishinjou.chaotic.ninja can see them in the federated timeline. So not all your posts are boosted, just the ones which mention group accounts.

@silverhuang I did realize later on this is a really bad idea (because as far as the software I used goes I have no idea how to distinguish top-level posts and users which have #nobot in their bio), and I have pretty much resolved the problem of my GTS instance not federating enough through less annoying methods (though even those have their own problems it seems), so I don't need this boost bot anymore. If it's becoming a net negative then I am definitely happy to turn it off. :)

@silverhuang I just wish #GoToSocial support relays and #guppe and #chirpsocial federate properly with GTS by allowing people from GTS instances to follow groups. It's such a hopeless situation if you want to federate with many people...
