HS2 needs to be done to make us viable for external investment from outside companies, but nope, we need to re use that money for the roads. Oh wait, EVs cannot charge as that infrastructure project for UK wide charging stations was AGAIN cancelled by the Tories. (1/3)
The UK Govt despite it being Tories and Labour, needs to BE reminded that to be GREEN we need a good rail network that is High Speed and IS NATIONALISED as Profits goes abroad and also not to ignore staff on safety concerns about the trains or ticketing offices. I'm a Londoner and I feel that the North is getting ignored by the Tories that unless it's for them or to enrich their donors economically.
France decided to do it at an inopportune time of the Oil Crisis and did a great job that now includes banning short distance flights with other European countries are following suit as they have good Rail services. I just don't know why any UK Govt wants to screw up the environment more.
