Learned how to use @gimp to stretch the histogram in my stacked images and liking it a lot better that what I had been doing. Getting better colors as well.
This is otherwise the same Lagoon Nebula image I posted yesterday.

@GwenForr Interesting! For me I had the best results when doing the stretch in Siril, and then just the final touches in GIMP.

(and then I bought Pixinsight and everything changed)

@stfn I haven’t been able to figure out stretching in Siril. I found a quick tutorial on doing it in gimp, and found it really easy. Maybe I’ll see if I can find a similar one for Siril.
