Gauging interest in a Secret Santa event. - Lemmy.world

I know it’s still October and it seems like the Christmas season eats other holidays, but a Secret Santa is something that needs a bit of lead time to get everybody enough time to do all the gift related things. This thread is to gauge how many people would be interested. Ideally I’d like to pull in people from the tabletop community as well to widen the participant pool. My plan at the moment, if there is a Secret Santa is to have users send signup info to an Proton email account that I’ve already set up for mod purposes, and then I’ll manually match everybody up. That seems both doable, and secure enough. Thoughts and interest from the community.
