How is BC Ferries so bad at their job? They literally have one job.
They forgot that have to have boats working.
“Run to failure” isn’t useful for a profit-based company providing essential service – or one trying to rebrand as a glamorous tourist excursion operator that also schlepps smelly locals back and forth.
PyrHopefully having penalties doesn’t lead them to take risks like sailing boats that should be docked for repairs to avoid fines.
