Made it to Hackerbrücke and past the Oktoberfest drunks.
Advantage of U-Bahn in Munich: they ride every few minutes. So I don’t care about timetables.
S-Bahn to Trudering runs on a 20 minute schedule. And no. I didn’t want to wait at Hackerbrücke among the Oktoberfest drunks.
Arrived at Trudering. Bus 185 just arrived. Lucky me! Will be home soon and making a hot cocoa before heading to the sheets and sleeping in as tomorrow is a bank holiday. Thank you all for following along :)
The most boring part was printing all the pages. My printer JustWorks since many years. No paper jam, no weird bugs. And no ink! Believe me. A simple, robust b/w laser printer is still the best solution.
(It’s a Brother HL-L2340D, in case you wonder. Duplex, WLAN, no fancy features, cheap toner, no spyware drivers, dirt cheap and has never let me down)

Lars Marowsky-Brée 😷@jwildeboer I've got one of the big Brothers that also can scan (something I admittedly no longer need, that's now easy enough to do with the phone). It jams about every other year or so and is by now on the first or second toner cartridge.

Steve@jwildeboer I have a Brother colour laser that works fine with Ubuntu. I decided life was too short for messing with ink cartridges that keep drying up.
