Reddit censors story on Starlink losing over 300 satellites after it jumps to #2 overall for r/worldnews - Lemmy.world

reddit come on mannnn

I like a good anti reddit circlejerk as much as anyone, but this community did the same thing lemmy.world/post/6105113 was here yesterday, it’s gone now
So that’s what happened I was like where did it go.

I heard twitter X was the true bastion of free speech. Maybe try there.

The satellite loss is expected and has been discussed pretty thoroughly already. The larger story, to me, is that that the whole starlink project is haemorrhaging money and it’s still being subsidized by taxpayer money.

I like how you’re downvoted for speaking about the actual issue.

300 low earth orbit satellites that were designed to be temporary out of a fleet of 5000.

But “private company, operated by billionaire who opposes raising taxes on his bracket, wants YOUR tax money to keep his business afloat”. How’s that for clickbait, lol

Because Elon’s minions are here. But yeah the story is they wiped the story.
Maybe people only read like 10 words and thought I was somehow pro-elon? Maybe they took my sarcastic twitter quip seriously? *Shurg*
Somewhere Bill Gates is a happy man watching Elon repeat his past mistakes with Teledesic
