Musk is a serious fucking global problem and it can get a lot worse before it gets better. Not sure how to rein him in now. But for damn sure don’t be giving him your patronage or money. Get the hell off Twitter, sell your Tesla, stop enabling him.
aracer@ottocrat well I involuntarily left Twitter having been permanently suspended for not actually breaking the rules (there is specific guidance saying what I was banned for is allowed). Trying to resist the temptation to make a new account, but Mastodon just isn't as good I'm afraid.
@aracer It is what we make it. Continuing to use Twitter enables Musk imo.
@ottocrat I don't disagree with your point about enabling Musk, but whatever those of us here do, it won't have the reach of Twitter - I can't contact my local council here.
@aracer It’s Musk’s fault that he has broken that, but if the only way to talk to my local Council is by heading down to the nazi bar then I’m not going to talk to my local Council. Fortunately, there are other ways.
