Never heard of anyone named Prairie, but it would also work imo and not be too weird.
Probably wouldnt have too much luck with Temperate Rainforest or Alpine Grasslands.
And then… then theres Bog.
It works as a name, but you probably do not want to be named Bog.

Savannah isn’t a biome, it’s a city. Savanna is a biome and I’ve never met someone with that name.

An isthmus is a relatively narrow strip of land separating two bodies of water, and linking two larger landmass.
An easy example is how central America has that thin bit that connected to South America before they dug the Panama canal. The Suez canal crosses another isthmus that we dug through like that.
It’s a specific desert, not a biome. So applying this logic, a name could be Sierra, or Rainier, not Mountain(s), which are already actual names.
From best to worst in my opinion:
- Tundra
- Taiga
- Chaparral
- Plateau
- Woodland
- Rainforest
- Grassland
- Desert
- Wetland
- Swamp
Meadow is a good name.
There are girls named Rain and boys named Forest, so an enby named Rain Forest wouldn’t be that much of a stretch.
