If you made $10,000 every day and never spent a cent, from the time the Declaration of Independence was signed, to the time you are reading this, you would still not have a billion dollars.

Tax billionaires out of existence. And actually redistribute the wealth to the people.

@WorkingFamilies
For UK, if you saved £10,000 a day for 48 years, you'd have about £507M.

This assumes an average interest rate of 9.04% and average inflation of 5.18%.

The average interest and inflation were taken from historical UK data that was merged down to average figures, as that make the calculation easier. Both were taken from BOE data.

@WorkingFamilies

well, I am for taxing the ultra wealthy by taking away the tax dodge trump gave them in 2017. I am also for the gov't paying back the $2.7 Trillion Ronald Reagan "borrowed" from the Social Security Trust Fund in 1986 to pay for their last tax break. carry on

@WorkingFamilies Just taxing them leaves open the possibility they'll use the resources under their grips to undermine the democratic process to prevent or undo that. Seems like billionaires call for action that precludes them coming back, if only a device for that had been invented...
