Sunak vows to stop 20mph zones and review LTNs

PM says measures like 20mph zones should not be forced on drivers but Labour accuses him of hypocrisy.

This is what you accept when you object to 20mph speed limits. This is what you shrug and say "yeah, that's fine, happy to accept this rate of death" over.

@rosamundi For people who use sane, standard, IS units, 20 MPH ā‰ˆ 32 km/h.

Removing 30 km/h zones to please stupid car drivers who rather kill people to "gain" a ridiculous, insignificant amount of time (that will be spend at red lights/stop sign anyway…), than "be late", is utterly stupid…

@devnull @rosamundi I thought that UK had finally adopted the SI (I stands for INTERNATIONAL) units.

Well, the sickos’ country (aka the USA) had signed the Metre Convention in 1875, and they still use the moronic, illogical and non-standard old UK imperial units…

@TritTriton @devnull I'm British, we use an unholy mixture of whatever the hell we feel like at the time.
