Worble Parker@mogwai_poet No game title or subtitle text on the .p8.png cartridge? Don't tell me you couldn't fit it in the source!!

@mogwai_poet I believe if you put 1-2 comments at the top of your source they show up as title and subtitle in the cartridge export

But oof, that's the optimization thing that bugged me most, that to save tokens I had to take variables that used to be members of the player class and made them globals. It works because there's just one player, but it feels bad conceptually.
@mogwai_poet I kind of weirdly like the "permission" out of necessity to write bad code - at least not having done anything on Gordy's scale

@grumpygamer So far Gordy has sold 10x as many units on Steam. That's commensurate with the amount of work required to get the game on each platform, but based on past games performance I expect the disparity to grow

Got the ending (cropped so don't ruin it for folks not that it seemed too spoilery). And continued...cos I want this book thing. I dunno what it does but I want it. Not sure how to do get it. Did try luring the burning dude over but that didn't help. Hmm.
@mogwai_poet By the way it's weirdly satisfying when so many enemies get all webbed up from touching other webbed up enemies. :D

JamesGecko@mogwai_poet On macOS, Steam displays the warning, "This product is not compatible with macOS 10.15 Catalina or above." The game is almost certainly compatible with modern macOS, but there's a checkbox in the Steam publishing UI somewhere that defaults to off. 🙃
