devBearPlans for the week were disrupted. I still took a vacation day today. Day drinking of some nice cocktails (gray whale aviation; frozen painkiller) has led to some day drunkenness. Nap time before going out to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday.

@LilPecan yes my dad turned 80 on the 28th. Was a nice dinner with friends. Original plan for pig roast back in WI cancelled due to family getting covid

@devBear No one can convince me any alcohol s worth that kind of money.
@LilPecan Agreed. He bought one years and years ago at a duty free and has since consumed it in much joy with friends which is why I know he would have liked another but the price has commensurately increased over the years as well.
@devBear If you open a savings account now and keep depositing to it at regular intervals you can afford it painlessly for his 85th birthday.
