When dragon rider dude was just like kill them, and all the other gith were like sure boss, maybe that could’ve been a wake up call. I can support her when she faces that crisis of faith. Oh wait, she says it’s just the one guy that’s the asshole. Maybe she’ll eventually see how authoritarian cultures and blind devotion to a lich aren’t good things. Maybe if I tolerate her xenophobia and calling me a worm long enough she’ll see she’s being mean. I can set the good example, even though her approval rating falls when I do.

Lae’zel is refreshing. Not a damsel in distress, not an invincible mary sue, not someone that everyone likes, not someone that is pretty on a conventional level althought she is absolutely angry sex incarnated sometimes and it makes me feel things I havent felt in a medium in a long time while being absolutely a must in my party, camp and sometimes bedroll, in that order.
