The audio in my videos on YouTube definitely don't sound clean. I may need help figuring out where the issue is. My audio chain through recording and editing is clean. It seems to be at FinalCut either in or out

If you'd like a second opinion of any final audio, let me know - it's what I do.
@JLeeson Thank you - I think my podcast is reasonably clean (https://dimsumthinking.com/Podcast/2023/026KeepTwoThoughts.html) whereas my videos sometimes don't sound as clean and the only difference in the audio chain is FCP (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WG8dT-IP-UA&list=PLlc_rDuPW0Y2Z2T1Dv-je_fG1ZQyIhehi)

Just 2 suggestions for now, Daniel, for better sound in your videos:
- make sure you import only AIF, WAV or FLAC audio files into FCP
- set the video export CODEC to H.264 Better Quality

I'm confident low settings of both audio & video CODECs are the culprit. Shun MP3s as source files, aim for larger final video file sizes.

And share a sample with me, if you'd like!

@JLeeson thank you so much. I get home in a week and will give this a try
