actioninja@cadey This is a pretty crazy ass connection if true, did you use the username "Cadey" in 2020 on the the #nixos channel in libera?
If so, I just got bitten by the exact same misconfig as you did, I just spent about 10 hours over two days trying to figure out why my user process was getting sigkilled during nixos rebuilds and finally after basically just typing word salad into Google ended up at this years old irc log of someone with the same issue: (at 01:05)

If your user is in "nixbld" group it gets killed as cleanup.
