New fly reel 🤩

Supposed to be for my birthday, so I will make every effort not to use it until my birthday 😉

But I just needed to make sure it was not malfunctioning, so I matched with one of my favorite fly rods. A bit of happy moment 😊

I know I am accumulating unnecessary (auxiliary or ancillary as somebody suggested) reels – I hear that this is a continuous issue for many anglers. But I feel that this is going to be one of my go to reels 🤔
