Open source Gallery app?

Open source Gallery app? - lemm.ee

I currently use Simple Gallery. While it is not bad, the UI could definitely be better. I tried Aves for a bit but it seems to not have a built in photo or video editing feature which is a deal breaker (unless there is a version with those features?) Any suggestions?

I used to use QuickPic back in the day, and when it went downhill I couldn’t settle with any other gallery app, so I ended up going with the gallery mod maintained by WSTxda. Might be worth checking out, perhaps?

I still use QuickPic to this day, using one that’s frozen in “good” version. There’s still nothing beating it.
