Looks like Zuck is still doubling down on it despite almost everyone else still not seeing how it can be profitable and their Horizon Worlds seems to be a flop: www.bbc.com/news/technology-66913551

Still, assuming the interview above isn’t fake and that the rendering was really done in the Metaverse, they’ve come quite a long way from their initial SimCity-like graphics.
