Overall, 4 in 10 people in the US have taken recent precautions (inc. masking or avoiding spaces) because of increases of COVID-19.

Imagine how many more would if instead of minimizing, the government told them it was important to continue precautions.

@luckytran I mean... isn't that just logical? Here is evidence that something you fear will not harm you as much as you thought? The rational response is to fear it less.

Just because I fear COVID less doesn't mean that I would not take all reasonable steps to protect those more vulnerable around me.

Just feels like a weird hot-take.
