COVID is airborne. We can control #airborne disease. Why do people still die of #hospital-acquired COVID? #BackToNormal abandons collective care & public #health by placing the burden of #COVID precaution on immunocompromised & #vulnerable people alone: https://www.thegauntlet.news/p/hospitals-are-killing-patients-because
Hospitals are killing patients because they don't feel like doing infection control

We now know COVID is fully airborne. We also know how to control airborne disease. So why are vulnerable people still dying of hospital-acquired COVID?

@AJStein_de
I had to spend 12 hours overnight in A and E a few weeks ago.
The (Polish?) nurse who did my ECG and took bloods was wearing a decent mask, as was I, and she commented on how that was sensible, given the mix of COVID, influenza and god knows what in the waiting room.
Some of the other staff were masked as were a minority of patients.
The madness of individual choice in a public health context.
