Here's deep, poetic, and slightly funny post, "Talking to Sylvia," about the changes I'm going through. https://www.rudyrucker.com/blog/2023/09/27/talktosylvia/
Talking to Sylvia

As you may know, my wife Sylvia died of cancer in January 8, 2023. I’m still grieving, and I miss her very much. Over the last eight months, I’ve returned many times to the question of what it might mean to say Sylvia’s soul is still with me. In this post, I’ll outline some of

@rudytheelder The spacetime explanation is really strong I think. Point time's arrow the other way and the ones we miss are still with us.

@rudytheelder

Did you read today, that antimatter falls down and not up?

We know so little, really. At least, until.

Thank you.

@ctrl_alt_scifi At first I MISREAD the Baez post and thought it said antimatter falls UP. And I was happy all afternoon. Oh well! I happened to be thinking about antigravity just yesterday... imagining yet another tale about people flying. But it's not gonna be so easy. Well, there's always dark energy. I had antigravity in my story "Inertia" but bynow I don't remember how it worked.

Also had flying in MASTER OF SPACE AND TIME. And...remember Cavorite?

A hint, perhaps, from your past self: "After I wrote 'Inertia,' Mike gave me the gyroscope, and I kept it with me until we left Lynchburg."

. . . .

Cavorite...

And, helium metal.

And apergion?

Imaginary chemistry and physics are terribly exciting to read, even after a span of decades since their original publication. :)

@rudytheelder Great post, Rudy!

I had to snort and smile at "You’re gonna die away. So why not believe something that makes you happy?"

Well said! And a great outlook on... well... life.

@rudytheelder

Sorry for your loss, Rudy. It's nice to read your reflections. You look good in that photo.
